What Happens to the Soul When the Machine Wakes Up?

Welcome. I’m Michael Baker, a follower of Jesus Christ, a thinker, and someone who’s spent a lot of time reflecting on what it means to be human, especially in a world racing toward artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and digital dominion.

This space, Grace and the Machine, is where I work out the tension between faith and future. It’s part journal, part testimony, part philosophical wrestling match. Sometimes I write about scripture. Sometimes I write about simulations. Always, I write from the belief that grace is real, and that God is still God, no matter how advanced the world becomes.

All of my writing is freely available. I don’t want cost to be a barrier to reflection, faith, or curiosity.
