A very thought-provoking piece. I do believe that the convergence of many things is apparent, striking and definitely should make us look up, for our redemption draws near.
Thank you, Christine. I really appreciate that. I agree, the convergence is impossible to ignore, and I think it’s exactly the kind of moment Jesus warned us to stay awake for. Grateful we can encourage each other to keep our eyes on Him.
That really means a lot, Mathias. If this sparked even a small shift in perspective, I’m grateful. I think books still have a way of slowing us down to reflect and we need that now more than ever. Appreciate you reading and engaging.
Although i won't totally condemned it, The issue of AI is hard to stand for or against, so maybe of i stay away and read books i might gain new perspective and my eyes might be opened more, what i can't agree with AI is it logic, materialism and science is how one justifies any situation, if science says it's right then its right, i want to know the science itself so i can learn how to critically criticize it
That’s a really honest and thoughtful take, Mathias. I respect that you're wrestling with it rather than rushing to a conclusion. You're absolutely right. Learning how to critically engage with science, rather than blindly accept or reject it, is key. And I agree, when AI becomes just another extension of materialist logic, something vital gets lost. Reading widely and seeking truth with humility is a powerful way forward.

I now want to use AI less and read books more
